Jeff Goldman practices exclusively in the area of business immigration law. He has 23+ years of extensive experience representing technology, life science, and entrepreneurial businesses regarding all visa matters, as well as permanent residency applications. After managing the immigration law sections at two nationally recognized law firms for 11 years, Jeff opened his own practice in 2011.

Jeff is a leader on immigration policy at the state level. In 2014, Jeff conceived of and drafted a working outline for the Massachusetts Global Entrepreneur in Residence Program, which has been adopted by two Massachusetts governors as part of a plan to assist the best and brightest foreign nationals who come to Massachusetts universities in remaining in-state to thrive as entrepreneurs and create jobs. He also serves as the chair of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Refugees and Immigrants.
Malvena has close to 20 years experience in the field of U.S. immigration and nationality law, nine years as an attorney practicing exclusively in this area.
She has worked with and represented individuals and companies from around the world to obtain temporary work visas and permanent residence in the United States. She has also represented numerous families to bring spouses, children, or parents to the U.S.
Her prior work has included extensive work with detainees and immigrants in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, as well as applicants for political asylum. Her current role includes advising professionals and employers on the temporary and long-term options for coming to or remaining in the United States. Malvena is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School, cum laude, in Boston, MA, and she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Lowell in Lowell, MA. She is conversationally proficient in Spanish and is currently brushing upon her Italian.
Kasia joined Law Offices of Jeff Goldman in July 2012. She specializes in assisting large corporations in meeting their immigration needs. Kasia also has worked with many start-ups and medium size companies. She has an extensive experience with employment-based permanent residency cases including PERM labor certification process as well as variety of temporary work visas. Her work experience also includes working with family-based immigration cases. Since March 2014, Kasia has been a licensed U.S. immigration attorney practicing exclusively immigration law. Prior to that she worked for over 7 years as an immigration paralegal.
Kasia comes from Poland and has gone through the immigration process herself. She obtained her permanent residency through the PERM labor certification process and later became a U.S. citizen.
Kasia holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland and a Master of Laws in U.S. and Global Law and Technology with specialization in U.S. Law and Legal Methods from the Suffolk University School of Law, Boston, MA. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Attorney Michael Haven has over 12 years of experience working in all aspects of immigration law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. degree from Northeastern School of Law in Boston. Michael practices in a wide range of areas in immigration law handling both business and family immigration cases. He advises and counsels companies and individuals from around the world on options for working in the United States on temporary visas such as H-1B, O-1, and L-1 visas, and works with clients on permanent residence through the PERM and green card process.
Michael also has extensive experience in family-based immigrant filings, political asylum, waivers of inadmissibility, naturalization, and removal defense before the Immigration Court. Mr. Haven speaks fluent Spanish and has appeared on television and radio programs such as Empujando la Mañana, Tertulia Matinal, and Encuentro Latino to discuss immigration issues affecting the Latino community.
As Senior Litigation Counsel, Jesse Matthew Bless provides a full range of immigration litigation and consulting services to foreign nationals seeking to lawfully remain in the United States.
Previously, Jesse enjoyed a 12-year career at the United States Justice Department where he litigated thousands of complex immigration cases in federal district court and the circuit courts of appeals. His focus on implementing policy and defending the Attorney General in specific criminal immigration matters earned him distinction as a nationally recognized leader on the evolving framework used to assess the immigration consequences of criminal offenses. During his tenure, Mr. Bless routinely trained and advised various government agencies, non-government agencies and outside counsel on immigration law and policy.
Jesse also serves as an immigration advisor to municipalities, and has appeared as an immigration expert on local NBC and cable news affiliates.
After 17 years of large-firm practice in New Hampshire and Boston, Lorne M. Fienberg is Of Counsel to our firm, and lends his expertise to the preparation of complex waiver cases, and extraordinary ability and national interest green card petitions for our most talented foreign nationals. Lorne earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, and Master’s and Doctoral degrees in English from the University of California at Berkeley. After a successful career as a college professor of American Literature and American Studies, he enrolled at Boston College Law School where he was awarded his Juris Doctor, (magna cum laude) in 1994 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Lorne is active in a number of civic and arts organizations. He currently serves on the advisory boards of the New Hampshire Bar News and the New Hampshire Bar Journal, as well as the Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Keene State College. Previously, he sat on the Boards of the New Hampshire Humanities Council and the Nashua Symphony. He is also principal oboist in the Amherst Town Band and toured Wales with the Band in 2004.
Amy received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. in English Literature from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
One of the firm’s first employees, Danielle has 15 years of experience working in the immigration field. Her primary responsibility at the firm is to ensure that expiration dates are entered and tracked in the database so that there is no lapse in employment for clients’ employees. Danielle graduated from University of Connecticut with Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies, a field that focuses on helping people, which is what she loves to do.
Since joining the firm in 2016, Dan helps prepare several different types of immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, including H-1B, L-1A, and family-based applications. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Ursinus College and a Master’s Degree in English from the University of Delaware, and puts his skills to use by writing letters of support and helping with various research tasks. In his free time, Dan enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and attending concerts. He’s also been involved with amateur radio since his first year of college.
Margie joined the immigration team at the Law Offices of Jeff Goldman, LLP in 2013 as a paralegal. Assisting each of the firm’s attorneys with temporary work visas and permanent residence matters she has assisted with start-ups in addition to established business’ in the area of H-1B and L-1 visas. Furthermore, Margie has prepared numerous family immigration applications.
Prior to joining the firm Margie has had over twenty years of business experience working for large and small companies, and is extremely aware of exactly how every detail matters. This is business critical to filing applications – most especially in the area of immigration law.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of New Hampshire, Margie raised her family in Massachusetts. In addition to her professional career, she is a certified spin instructor and enjoys teaching at a local health club weekly.
Martha joined the firm in August 2016 and brings over 14 years of experience in the immigration field. She assists firm’s attorneys with various nonimmigrant and immigrant visas as well as permanent residence applications for entrepreneurs and foreign workers at mid and large corporations across the U.S. She also has extensive experience with business immigration applications such as PERM, H-1B, L, TN and J-1 visas, as well as assisting in defense immigration with cancellation of removal, asylum and permanent residence applications.
Martha was accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals to represent indigent immigrants in front of the Department of Homeland Security with a myriad of immigration related benefits such as TPS, Adjustment of Status, immigrant visas, citizenship, U visas and applications under VAWA for victims of domestic violence. As a former Executive Director for a U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, she gained invaluable experience working with individuals from different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. She studied economics at Rosario University in Bogota, Colombia, and is fluent in Spanish.
